Event Information

A transition to Epic, coupled with M&A growth, builds an inventory of legacy applications to rationalize. Follow the path of NYP CIO, Dan Barchi, to consolidate data from disparate silos, integrating with Epic, to achieve “one record.” Guidance for those facing similar data challenges will be shared. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about application rationalization and data archiving best practices to reduce cost, risk, and complexity
    Understand partner, tool, and resource requirements to efficiently manage down a legacy system inventory
    Realize benefits of Epic integration with historical records for improved clinical, HIM and rev cycle workflows
