    This Boot Camp is an intensive two and one-half day education program taught by a faculty of healthcare security thought leaders. Combining presentations, small group discussions, case studies and interactive problem solving, participants learn the real-world skills necessary to become a successful healthcare CISO.

    Participation in the Boot Camp is open to ALL working in provider organizations. You don’t have to be a CHIME Member to participate in this boot camp! .     The Healthcare CISO Boot Camp is designed specifically for healthcare IT professionals seeking to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to become successful in leading and managing security at the executive level. The teachings are equally appropriate for current CISOs looking to sharpen and enhance their leadership skills. 

    During this intensive 2 ½ day program, participants will: 

    1. Analyze communication strategies and how they relate to cybersecurity, digital and care strategies 
    2. Understand what tools and techniques work for cybersecurity in specific use cases and situations  
    3. Align cyber strategy to organizational IT strategy 
    4. Identify priorities within cybersecurity strategy – Case Study 1 
    5. Justify the use of a change framework for a specific situation or individual entity 
    6. Develop a plan to sustain change 
    7. Create a case for change within an organization – Case Study 2 
    8. Consider who your “customers” are within your individual entities 
    9. Classify the wants and needs of their different consumers or systems/data 
    10. Create a plan to meet the wants and needs of those consumers 
    11. Develop skills to deal with Executives and Boards to develop buy in  
    12. Analyze governance and prioritization models 
    13. Develop multiple ways to demonstrate organizational value within your organization 
    14. Analyze why it is important to develop high performance teams 
    15. Compare characteristics of a high and low performing team 
    16. Design a plan to sustain a high-performance team 
    17. Justify the importance of effective networks and communities 
    18. Create a plan to build effective relationships 
    19. Learn to develop effective relationships to create valuable networks and communities 
    20. Develop an elevator pitch detailing your cybersecurity strategy you can use with the Board – Case Study 3

    Don’t delay! Space in the Boot Camp is limited to a maximum of 40 participants.                                                  The registration fee includes all program materials as well as breakfasts, lunches, receptions, and group dinner.       

     

    Cancellation Policy:

    Cancel on or before March 1, 2024 Full refund of registration fee
    Cancel after March 1, 2024 but before March 11, 2024 $1,000 non-refundable cancellation fee
